SHANTI MISSION (Hinsa Nahi, Kabhi Nahi, Kahi Nahi)

A team of social activist including a Gandhian Mr. Vimal Bhai, an Islamic Activist Abdul Rashid Agwan and social workers Iqbal, Kanwaljit Sagwan, Jibin, Musab Rafiq Agwan and Mr. Syed Mashhood Ahmed and many others have taken initiative for pacifying communal tension and the national tension and resolved to organize Peace March and Peace Assemblies in different localities of Delhi. The first such programme was organized on 25^th October 2008. People of different faiths assembled at Ramlila Ground, Okhla, Jamia Nagar at 08:00 am from where the Peace March will lead to Jullena Crossing an ideal place flanged by Mandir, Masjid, Church & Gurudwara and the people were remain there upto 06:00 pm. Some of them kept Upwas & Roza for self purification and to contemplate on the issue of Peace & Harmony. The people belongs to all religion attend the programme.

DCP Mr. Ajay Chaudhury also attended the programme from 2 to 2.30 and encouraged us. He said that this kind of programme should be organised regularly and we are ready to support also. We spoke to some persons in Gurudwara & Church in nearby location but they didn't attend the programme as whole.
